• Department is actively involved in research encompassing Development of Conventional pharmaceutical formulations, Novel Drug Delivery Systems, Synthetic Chemistry, Computer Aided Drug Design using drug design and discovery software and Pharmacological screening of Novel therapeutics. The Department has in-house facilities for drug/dosage form development and research drugs with sophisticated instruments such as HPLC, Computerized UV, Brookfiel viscometers and Rheomters, Lyophilizers, Probe Sonicators, Rotatory evaporator, Stability chambers. Most of our students are doing their M.Pharm dissertation work in KSOP Research Lab in collaboration with highly reputed Pharmaceutical research companies (Lupin, Glenmark, Ranbaxy, etc) and government research organization such as DRDO. Departmemnt is also organizing educational and research tours to various pharmaceutical research institute and pharma conglomerates.

PG students have been involved in research and development and following progressive research have been carried out under the supervision of research guides.
